OPWDD - Group Day Habilitation Without Walls
SDC has developed an exciting configuration of Day Habilitation services, including a Without Walls component, which provides a variety of community-based programming while maintaining the home base of a traditional day program. This home base creates a safe environment where individuals can address and practice skills in a comfortable, encouraging environment to then be transferred to the community with confidence. Staff assists all participants in developing the skills necessary to strive for their dreams. We also provide Community Prevocational Services to prepare and develop vocational skills for those individuals who are seeking employment skills. Our programming is designed to assist each individual not to just get the job but have the skills to keep it.
